WalkDD ("the App") is developed by Michel Löhr. This privacy policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.
The App requests access to your device's location (GPS) while in use. This is used solely to show your current position on the map during a walk, and to enable the follow-mode and proximity features.
You can revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings app. The App continues to function without location access; follow mode and proximity notifications will be unavailable.
If you enable notifications, the App may send local notifications to your device when you are near a point of interest on your current route. These notifications are generated entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
The App uses the MapBox SDK to render map tiles. MapBox may receive anonymous requests for map data as part of normal SDK operation. Please refer to MapBox's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
The App does not include any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or tracking technology. No usage data, crash reports, or identifiers are collected by the developer.
The App does not require an account, email address, or any form of registration.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children. No data is collected by the developer.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision date.
